Cambodian communities and
and working together
to build capacity and resilience.
The Joint Climate Change Initiative is a collaborative effort between the three organizations, Cord, DCA/CA and Forum Syd, and is working to enhance the capacity among Cambodian non-government organizations and communities in order to reduce vulnerability of added threats that climate change poses to development.
JCCI presently reaches out to 25 Cambodian organizations and networks - and the communities they work with - working in a variety of areas, and aims at integrating a climate change lens into existing programme and project activities with a bottom-up rights based approach.
The Joint Climate Change Initiative has been funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) since its start in 2009.
